The 7th grade Earth Science class from Northside undertook a Field Stream Study on Friday, April 25th. Our students observed in the stream located down the infamous ravine behind Northside calculating the following stream characteristics: Velocity, Gradient, Capacity and Discharge. A final presentation of the team's calculations and graphs were presented in class the week of May 5th. This is impressive work for a group of 7th Graders; our congratulations go to them for a job well done. See the photo gallery of this event.

NCS Competes in Ohio Math Competition
NCS traditionally attends and has top place winners in the Buckeye Christian School Association competitions. This year we had a 1st place competitor in one math category, and a 2nd and 3rd place competitor in another category. However, there are lots of other schools in Ohio, so this year the seniors decided to compete in a state wide full story

Wanted: Your Empty Soup Cans. The Excellence in Education Banquet Committee needs your help this year with our table decorations. We are looking for: Soup Cans, (all sizes and products except tuna cans. Cleaned and label-free is preferable.) and Road Maps (Any kind of map that does not need to be returned. Decorative papers with a map-look would also be useful). Please drop any items off at Mrs. Burchwell's classroom.
The Northside Christian School 3rd Annual Golf Scramble is scheduled for Saturday, May 17th, 2008. Please fill out and return the registration form if you are interested in participating as either a player or a sponsor. The proceeds will go towards the building fund for
